"In My experience it is important to remember where you are from, so you can take it with you where ever you end up" ~ Grace ~ Our Town A Kingston Story.
As i sit here cold and tired i look at these 4 walls and i can here the echo's of my life. I can remember the tears and laughter. I can still feel the excitement of Christmas time, see the colours of the years going by, How the moon always shines through onto my pillow lighting up my face. And i remember the last look before i left for uni. The feeling that finally, the memories could be locked away. at that point the story of the room was over, once and for all. I would still be back to visit of course but the room would never again be called home. It was exciting.
Memories do haunt you like a never resting ghost. Trapped in that prison cell. They are hard to shake and even harder to speak of. All we can do is accept them and move on. Help is not always available. This is not the fault of others but should be seen as an opportunity to not forget but move on and make ones self better for what we have endured and learnt from it. ..simply walk away and live! xxx
